Crown Heights Baptist Church

Steve and his wife, Tammy, come to Woodward from Branson, Missouri.  Being a native of Branson, Steve spent eight years as pastor of First Baptist Church, Reeds Spring, MO.  Steve was called in the ministry Feb. 1994.  Since his calling he has served as pastor in churches in Oklahoma,
Missouri and as an Evanglist in Alabama.  Steve and Tammy have five children ranging from the ages of 30 to 19.  Steve served our country in the United States Army for 20 years and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. 

Steve brings to the pulpit a no-nonsence, tell it like it is style of preaching.  His strong belief in the Lord and his love for all of God's children shows in his preaching and understadning of God's Word.  Steve believes that no matter your race, creed, social or financial status should keep you from worshipping the Lord; all are welcomed, and he looks forward to meeting all who come to worship at Crown Heights Baptist Church.
